Referral Programme

How the 20% referral commission works.

These terms explain who can earn a referral commission, when it is earned, how long it is held, when it can be reversed, and how payouts are made.

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Who can earn

Any account holder can generate a referral code and share link from their referral dashboard. To earn, you must hold an active Assetra AI subscription at the moment the person you referred makes their qualifying payment.

If you do not have an active subscription when someone signs up using your code, the code is not applied to their account and no referral is recorded. A referral in that state cannot be credited to you later, including if you subscribe afterwards.

2. What earns a commission

A commission is earned on the first subscription payment made by a person who signed up using your referral code or link. It is calculated as 20% of that payment, in the same currency the payment was made in, and is rounded down to the nearest whole unit of that currency.

Renewals, credit top-ups, and standalone product purchases do not earn a commission. A referred person can only ever produce one first payment, so each referral earns at most once.

Registering with your code is not itself a qualifying event. If the person never subscribes, nothing is earned.

3. Attribution

A person is attributed to you when they register after arriving through your share link, or when they enter your code on the registration form. Attribution is recorded once, at registration, and does not change afterwards. A person can only ever have one referrer.

You cannot refer yourself. Attempts to attribute an account to itself, or to create accounts for the purpose of claiming commissions, are not eligible and may result in removal from the programme.

4. Holding period

Earned commissions are held before they become available to withdraw. The standard holding period is 14 days from the qualifying payment. Payments made by card are held for up to 60 days, because card payments can be disputed by the payer long after they settle.

The holding period exists so that a commission is not paid out on a payment that is later reversed. Your referral dashboard shows the exact date each commission becomes available.

5. Reversals

If the payment a commission was earned on is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the commission is reversed too. We recover it from your held balance first, then from your available balance.

Where a reversal happens after the commission has already been paid out to you, the reversed amount may be recovered from future commissions or, where that is not possible, reclaimed directly.

6. Withdrawals and payouts

Commissions accrue in the currency of the payment that generated them and are not converted between currencies. You withdraw each currency separately, to a payout account you nominate for that currency.

Minimum withdrawal amounts:

  • GHS 100.00 (GHS)
  • NGN 10,000.00 (NGN)
  • $10.00 (USD)
  • ZAR 150.00 (ZAR)

When you request a withdrawal the amount is immediately deducted from your available balance and held against that request. Approved payouts are sent within 5 business days. If a request is declined, the full amount is returned to your available balance and you will be told why.

Payout details you provide must be accurate and must belong to you. We are not able to recover a payout sent to details you supplied incorrectly.

7. Referral balances are not a bank account

A referral balance is a record of commissions owed to you under this programme. It is not a deposit, does not earn interest, and is not a stored-value or payment account. Balances are not transferable between accounts.

8. Tax

Referral commissions may be taxable income where you live. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on amounts you receive from this programme.

9. Abuse and suspension

Self-referral, fake or duplicate account creation, misrepresenting Assetra AI, spam, paid-search bidding on our brand terms, and any other attempt to generate commissions that do not reflect a genuine referral are prohibited.

We may withhold or reverse commissions, close a referral balance, and remove an account from the programme where we reasonably believe this section has been breached. Accounts that are suspended or closed do not accrue commissions.

10. Changes to the programme

We may change the commission rate, holding periods, minimum withdrawal amounts, or any other term of this programme, and we may suspend or end the programme. Changes apply to commissions earned after the change takes effect; the rate applied to a commission is the rate in force when it was earned.
